Here’s something I’ve been meaning to post about on here for quite some time:

Salad Fingers movies.

They’re quite demented, but barrels of fun to be had by all.

I just got an e-mail from istockphoto saying i’ve got 19 credits expiring in three months… suckitude! As usual, I probably won’t have any use for them until after they expire. But until then, if anybody needs any lemme know, because I don’t want them to go to waste.

Yay! Chubby Bunny was grand. It was my first time at Gallery Nucleus, and might I say, that had to be one of the best galleries I’ve been to so far. Not only do they have plenty of wallspace, but a lovely store as well. And a good DJ. I want to go back when I have money and get a nifty art/design book or something, which they had no shortage of. We also discovered that Alhambra is a pretty happening place. For being so confusing to get to. And somewhat out of the way. This show definitely made up for the two craptacular shows we saw last though, fo sho’. Next up: Day Late, Dollar Short.

Dang, the week went by fast. Insanity!

The past couple of days at work I’ve gotten to learn all about the silkscreening process from start to finish, and today I get to get all dirty squeegeeing the ink onto the shirts. I have the coolest job ever. I wonder if I’ll ever get to do it again in the future when I’m an official art department kid? That would be grand. I always hoped I’d get a job where I would look forward to going in to work every day, I just hope it stays like this even after it’s not new anymore…

[edit one week later…] So far so good! Even the computer stuff ain’t bad. It’s weird, I feel like I’ve been there a heck of a lot longer than a week and a half, when at the same time, the time’s been flying by.

Mmm, ramen.

I just found out about another sweet art show coming up this month: Jon Wayshak at the Subject Matter Gallery on Saturday, February 18th. It shall be rad.
